Money. Something that surrounds us all day, every day yet remains a sensitive subject in our society. Do we really understand it? Is it good or evil? What should we do with our savings? How can we build a healthy relationship with it?
Conscious Action alongside Flick Electricity and Good Magazine hosted a conversation about the evolution of money until now, a future of digital currencies, impact investing and how to grow your money and how the way we live is shaped by our relationship to money.
Our very knowledgeable and interesting guest speakers included John Berry, who manages an ethical investment KiwiSaver, Andrew Gillick, who researches and writes about digital assets, blockchain and the future economy and Karen Swainson who uses her corporate and NGO experience to work with organisations who can lead us into an environmentally sustainable and socially just future.
