What does the future look like for our little ones? What skills will they need to cope and thrive with the challenges that life brings? How can we raise children to have an awareness of the concerns in the world without causing undue stress and anxiety?
Confident, happy children have a range of tools that help them maintain their physical and mental health. We will discuss proven techniques for growing resilience and teaching children strategies to deal with strong feelings and emotions in a positive way.
We also introduce family habits and routines that nurture empathy and help children feel content as they learn to show appreciation and gratitude for all that they have.
An open discussion on how we can sow the seeds for connection with our children. We give you the practical tips and guidance on how to do this for both yourself and your family.
We will cover:
* Practical strategies for dealing with stress, anxiety and overwhelm.
* An introduction to mindfulness in everyday life: how to actually do it and make it a habit.
* The science of mindfulness
* How to raise a mindful child
* Research-based tips for raising grateful and contented kids
